What You Will Learn
LESSON 1: Consults Part I
- Master a step-by-step framework for clear, confident new patient consults. Learn how to gather a focused history, identify the true chief concern, and use photos and scans to explain what you see in a way patients understand. Build trust from the first conversation, so patients feel heard, informed, and open to discussing clear aligner treatment.
LESSON 2: Consults Part II
- Develop a practical system for presenting treatment options, timelines, and fees without pressure. Learn how to explain trade-offs, handle common questions and objections, and set realistic expectations around effort and outcomes. Integrate your team into the consult flow, so everyone supports case acceptance in a consistent, patient-centered way.
LESSON 3: Preparing a Prescription Form
- Gain confidence in translating your clinical findings into a clear, accurate prescription form. Learn what information matters most, how to prioritize goals, and how to communicate staging, attachments, IPR, and overcorrections to the technician. Reduce back-and-forth, avoid common errors, and set yourself up for a predictable first ClinCheck®.
LESSON 4: Reviewing ClinCheck®
- Develop a systematic approach to reviewing your digital treatment plans. Learn how to compare the simulation to your prescription, check the sequence and magnitude of tooth movements, and evaluate attachments, IPR, and occlusion. Practice requesting targeted modifications so each ClinCheck® moves closer to both biological reality and your ideal outcome.
LESSON 5: Starting the Case
- Learn case start protocols that are easy for you and your team to follow. Cover everything from tray fit and attachment bonding to delivering instructions, consent, and wear schedules. Build a repeatable chairside script for educating patients on what to expect in the first weeks so they leave feeling prepared and confident.
LESSON 6: Monitoring Process
- Create a simple, scalable monitoring system for active cases. Learn how often to review patients, what to look for at each visit, and how to identify early signs of non-tracking or compliance issues. Clarify team roles in checking fit, documenting progress, and flagging concerns so you can intervene early and keep cases on track.
LESSON 7: Refinements
- Master a structured approach to planning and requesting refinements. Learn how to diagnose why a case is off course, decide when to rescan, and prioritize which details matter most in the next stage. Simplify repeat refinement cycles, improve your communication with the technician, and set expectations with patients so refinements feel like part of the plan, not a failure.
LESSON 8: Finishing
- Become confident in recognizing when a case is truly ready to finish. Learn practical techniques for fine-tuning occlusion, esthetics, contacts, and midlines, and how to decide when to stop adjusting and start retaining. Build a finishing checklist that you and your team can use to standardize quality across all completed cases.
LESSON 9: Retention
- Design retention protocols that match your treatment goals and your patients’ realities. Learn how to choose between fixed and removable options, set clear wear schedules, and manage common issues such as lost or broken retainers. Strengthen your messaging around long-term stability, so patients understand their role in protecting their new smile.
LESSON 10: Case Review
- Implement a simple case review system that turns your everyday work into ongoing education. Learn how to audit finished and in-progress cases, track patterns in your successes and challenges, and use that data to refine your protocols. Build a small internal library of before-and-after cases that supports teaching your team and building your own confidence.
